卡特彼勒CAT柴油發動機潤滑系統有一個三齒輪的油泵，由前端齒輪鏈驅動，油從油槽經過吸入漏斗(１６)和彎管(１５)被油泵吸入，吸入漏斗有一螺旋以清洗滑油。
